I just can’t leaf well enough alone. I’m addicted to bookmarks—of the molded silicone kind in pink mushroom shapes—and now, little sprouty leaves!
The horror and self-help books I read are looking mighty cute and fun. The leaf pack came with so many that I can’t imagine losing more than five or six—which still leaves me with at least one.
Oh, the books I will buy—and read all at once! I can “race” the bookmarks to see which tome I’ll finish first. Nate and Alex can place bets. Will I get through The Exorcist first or Feel the Fear…and Do it Anyway? Or will there be a tie? Either way, I will learn a lot about myself in the process.
And mangled corners of volumes of dark tales? No more! I’ll leave all the mangling to the experts in the books I read.
Your Turn: Do you like to read? Do you like to read more than one book at a time?
I like to read, but I prefer to read one book at a time to avoid confusion.

I’m not a fan of reading. I enjoy listening to audiobooks. If I have to read a book of fiction because an audible version doesn’t exist, I use electronic bookmarks to keep my place. 😀
I can have multiple books on the go at the same time.

I have a current book on my Kindle for reading in bed and a real book for our book club, now I also have a really good book by one of our writer’s group who wants us all to finish reading so we can discuss!

I hadn’t thought of doing both–online and on paper. That could be fun.

I like reading books (you shouldn’t read anything on a screen before trying to sleep though, especially if you suffer from insomnia) with paper pages and often will have several books going at once. I did a lot of screen reading for work and like the separation from that that paper books give me. Cheers.

I like the paper version better, too!

I love to read. I spend most of my time these days reading manuscripts!

I love to read! And yes, I usually read more more than one book at a time. I’m reading now a book about Nora Ephron, great woman!

I generally have about 3-4 books going at any time, including audiobooks. I love bookmarks, too!

You definitely find creative bookmarks! Yes, I always have several books going at a time, but I lamely use scraps of paper for bookmarks, and once even, shhh… a square of toilet paper. Now that’s real horror!

Square of toilet paper is awesome!

I have a book for the evening, a book for emergency in the car, and an audiobook to listen during my morning walk. love bookmarks , keep buying them or knitting them but then when it comes to mark the page I’m at, I am a hopeless corner bender🙄
