I’m all sizzled out on pumpkin spice, caffeine charging through my veins, spilling out in wild arm-waving to a techno beat.
So, I’ve raided two coffee shops in town, in search of milder cranberry-flavored merriment. Starbucks, the source of my cranberry crisis last year, is sadly no longer serving its cranberry refresher drink, but the local coffee shop has Italian sodas, so I ordered a cranberry-flavored one, with a shot of green apple syrup because I was feeling adventurous.
The drink looked like brown leaves—or cola. Perfect for a gray, drizzly day. But it tasted great. I really noticed the green apple kick, and it was delightful.

It reminded me of:
- The time I got a green Jolly Rancher stuck in my teeth, and I was not upset about it.
- Lofi Girl, studying to chill beats, while wild green apples hurl themselves from branches outside her window, just to see who can fall farthest from the tree.
- Kermit the Frog singing with Debbie Harry.
- Curious green space aliens who might discover green apple syrup and use it on everything. (I would suggest pancakes.)
- That time I dissolved green candy in cola and watched the bubbles stream upwards for days—wondering if they ever dreamed of drifting off to a bouncy, bubbly seafoam-colored world filled with rubber duckies.
Your Turn: What are you sipping on these days?
Water and herb tea for me these days—and cappuccino, of course.

I’m currently sipping hot water after a coffee.
During the day I consume coffee and water.

Sometimes hot water with a little bit of lemon hits the spot.

That sounds delicious. 😊 I usually confine myself to coffee and water, though. I have to watch the calories as they do love to hang out, permanently.

I’m sipping mainly IPA pale ale, sometimes with a spiced rum chaser, only when going out to see a band. During the day Lemon and Ginger tea, sweetened with some honey.

I just had a Baileys, the 1 litre bottles were on offer at the till in our local little Sainsbury today so I thought I would celebrate the fact it actually feels cold outside.

Wow! Reading your drink adventure was such a treat. The green apple kick and that bubbly cola vibe—I could almost taste it through your words. The way you tied in Lofi Girl, Kermit, and curious green space aliens? Absolutely mind-blowing! Next time, I’m definitely adding some creative chaos to my own coffee adventures. Keep these awesome stories coming!

Surprisingly, I hated tea when I was growing up, but I’m finding it more delightful now. It probably has something to do with the way my mom used to make it.

Your drink looks delightful. I like the comparison to the Jolly Rancher in your teeth. It’s rainy and cool here so a hot London Fog with extra vanilla is my beverage of choice nowadays.
